Most small businesses grow about the rate our economy grows (about 3%-4% per year) according to govern-ment statistics. Maverick Method users grow and prosper at a bit higher rate.

In a recent analysis, 83.7% of Maverick’s clients grow at least double the rate of the average. Many register 10% to 50% yearly sales gains – considerably more than their pre-Maverick operations.

Also, you’d expect new companies to make big gains, but not mature firms. Significantly, most of these are long-established operations.

Note in each of the incidents you’re about to read, success is never measured with one ad or one month. Everybody gets lucky now and again. Each of these companies measured success over a full year or more.

Obviously, we’d be foolish to guarantee you comparable results because many variables come into play. Each business is different and faces different problems.

However, if all these types of business can do it . . . when this many businesses can do it . . . why can’t you?

These are just a few of hundreds of examples

  • An independent Montana pharmacy just reported sales of $5.25 million – a whopping $750,000 increase this past year. You’d like these people. They’re experts in their field and work hard at helping customers.

  • Four attorneys in Lafayette, Indiana billing $175,000/year increased fees to $804,000 the year following their Maverick Method start. This one-year 459% increase cleared the way to add additional offices.

  • A 55 year-old furniture store (35,000 population city) used Maverick over the year to build from $750,000 to $1,100,000. Better yet, net profit rose from $20,000 to $126,000 – a 530% increase. (If you’re familiar with furniture, you know the average store nets about 2.75%. This store netted 10.5%.)

  • A South Dakota tire dealer wheeled up (no pun intended) the Maverick Method to register a 34.7% sales increase. He went on to post 30%-plus increases four years in succession.

  • The president of a struggling $10 million dollar home center near Tacoma enlisted a MaverickPlan (our copyrighted planning tool) to fight a giant new Home Depot. Sales were down 3.83% going in. With their new plan and pinpointed dollars, sales rose by $1 million – a 13%-plus turnaround! They’re growing – fast – the first time in four years.

  • 406.8% sales increase over five years. This already successful pet store racks up more than $2.4 million dollars in sales. These owners run an excellent operation in a mid-size Plains States city. We’re grateful they credit Maverick for its contribution to success.

  • A hard-pressed hardware/appliance store reversed a huge loss & increased sales 20%. Gross margins had dropped from normal 35% down to 26%, plus high ad costs to boot. With Maverick guidance they chopped ad costs, sales soared 20% after 6 months, gross margins returned to normal, & net profit zoomed.

  • A successful six-year-old Missouri art and picture framing service grew 137% from $138,000 to $327,000 with Maverick. This owner gets much credit because she loves people and works hard to develop creative ideas for her customers.

  • Maverick works for professions. A Midwest dentist used Maverick to charge up his long established professional practice. His flat sales line went a little crazy with a 25% year’s increase.

    Just like we did, you would judge this man as shy and self-effacing but one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable you’ve ever met. In other words, he wasn’t a “sales type”.

    Maverick methods supplied the patients. Once they arrived, he quickly earned the title, “my dentist”.

  • Over 2 years, an established San Joaquin Valley California GM auto dealer grew 81% from $9.7 million to $17.6 million. Believed the fastest growing dealer in the U.S. at the time. They credit Maverick methods.

    We credit the CFO of this company, an excellent manager, for overcoming many obstacles to achieve profitability. He has retired from the auto business but has remained a friend for many years.

  • Maverick defies depressed tourist markets. An $800,000 Black Hills tourist restaurant faced cool weather & 25% decreases in all tourist business (tourism is big in their area). The owner had “Tried everything – Nothing works!”

    Even though this owner serves the best prime rib you’ll ever eat, nothing really did work until he used Maverick methods to catapult sales 31% – plus 25% more the following year.

  • Women’s wear. This well-established 5-year-old store in Lincoln, Nebraska went from flat sales to 30% increases . . . compounded . . . three years running! Ultimately up 119.7%. These owners have a flair for fashion and a love for making customers happy.

  • After 10 months of Maverick, a million dollar air charter service reports a 16.4% breakthrough in sales.

  • Even old-style lumberyards make headway. A Decatur, Illinois yard managed a 30.4% sales increase despite soft business in the city. Workers had struck their large Caterpillar plant, which sent the city into a financial tailspin. This operation defied the trend.

  • Can a successful $800,000 florist with average 5% yearly increases do better? This well-established florist adopted Maverick and increased 26.8% to $1.015 million dollars.

Five more for good measure

  • Home improvement contractors in Shreveport, LA pushed their dreary sales into a dramatic turnaround. Business had laid flat at $300,000 sales for eight years since the Southwest oil “bust.” They engineered a 39.9% increase to $419,000 in the first year using Maverick.

  • An auto glass replacement shop drove sales up 96% with Maverick methods. Our greatest fear was too much growth, too fast. Think we’re joking? Have you ever seen a business implode because it could not logistically support such huge growth? We have. It’s heart breaking and it ain’t pretty.

  • An unlikely water pump service, which drills rural water wells and services pumps used Maverick to build sales 10% per year.

  • A pizza restaurant condemned to operate in Colorado Springs achieved a 23.5% increase in sales over a three-year period. We use the word “condemned” because these companies just have too many competitors. Most are lucky to hold flat sales or go up 1% or 2%. The “Springs” may qualify for test restaurant capital of the world.

  • A Tallahassee, Florida chiropractor increased fees $300,000. A Topeka, Kansas doctor of chiropractic doubled his new patients in one year.
